Site Crew

We do setup on the days leading up to the race and during the race, a lot happens behind the scenes. Duties include: setup for sponsor tents, tables & chairs, sound systems, finish arch, etc.

On Course

If you like cheering for the Athletes on course this is the job for you. The bike and run course needs many volunteers for flow and safety. We will need many course marshals to direct athletes and spectators.

Swim Crew

If you don’t mind getting wet, come and help us with the swim. We are looking for paddlers, lifeguards and volunteers to help with swim start and finish.

Aid Stations

If you are an energetic individual you might consider an aid station. We need many hands at our aid stations to hand out water/sport drink or nutrition to athletes, as they keep going along the route. Keep those cups filled!

The transition zone is the heart and soul of a triathlon and a very busy place. This key area must be controlled carefully at all times. Athletes need lots of help and information before, during, and after they race.

Finish Line

This is a great place to cheer on all the finishers! You’ll be the first to congratulate athletes as they cross the line. We are looking for volunteers to remove the timing chips, hand out medals or T-shirts, direct athletes to the finisher food, or work as access control to keep all the Paparazzi at bay.

We want to keep the athletes safe and healthy. If you are a registered nurse or have first aid this is where we need you. Non medical volunteers can also be used to help with various tasks.

The Massage Team’s purpose is to provide a smooth transition from athletic performance to a non-competitive state, and to create a positive experience of massage for the athlete.

Motorcycle Crew

Media and Race Officials are transported by motorbike. You will need to be trained for this position.

Registration and Race Package Pick-up is the “first impression” of our event, so a warm and friendly welcome is important! You will work at a specific location within the athlete registration process for example; handing out race numbers, swim caps, body marking, race kits, timing chips.

Special Events

Special events such as the the “Red and White” party, banquets and parades are part of the festival. We are looking for friendly volunteers to help make these events special.

Information Tent

This is a perfect place for athletes and or for individuals that are bilingual. Volunteers in the info booth will provide information to athletes and general public by answering questions related to the Expo, races, related events, city and attractions.

Environmental Crew

The environmental crew is very important to make our city and event look good. You will be working at the Expo and transition looking after recycling, or other garbage as needed.

Volunteer Tent

You’ll be assigned to various tasks such as feeding the volunteers, handing out volunteer shirts or various tasks needed.
